When referrals slow down

Many MSPs grow on referrals until the referrals slow down. Then the owner, often still the main closer and the senior engineer, has to prospect between client work, buy leads or pay an agency retainer. Few owners have 10 hours a week to research prospects. Meanwhile many local businesses have gaps in their email records. A 2026 field study by doesmyemail.work of 4,673 local firms in US and Canadian cities found 47.8% had no DMARC record.

What we do each month

We run outbound appointment setting under your MSP's name. We build the list, write each email around that prospect's own public DNS finding, answer the replies and send your booking link. You hold the meetings and close the work yourself. Meetings are not clients: whether a meeting becomes a managed-services contract depends on your own sales work.

  • About 500 new prospects a month in your service area: owners, office managers and IT decision makers at small and mid-size businesses
  • A fresh public DNS finding for each prospect
  • A 3-step cold email sequence under your name (about 1,500 emails a month once the mailboxes are warmed up), from mailboxes on your subdomain, each email carrying that prospect's own finding
  • Replies classified and answered, with your booking link sent to prospects who want to meet
  • A one-page brief per booked meeting: company, contact, finding and reply thread
  • The month's prospect list and reply log as a spreadsheet you keep
  • Opt-outs kept on a shared suppression list checked before every send
  • Sending tools, mailboxes and contact data included in the fee

Start with a free prospect finding

Our free prospect finding names 25 businesses in your own metro, about 10-100 staff each per public listings. For each, it gives the domain and its SPF and DMARC records as they appear in public DNS on a stated date. Each also gets a one-line, non-alarmist note on the spoofing risk. It includes one sample first email under your MSP's name. You can re-run every lookup yourself.

Email hello@mspmeetingdesk.com with your company website. We read your service area from it and build the rest from public listings and public DNS; we need nothing else from you.

Contents

  • 25 named businesses in your own metro, about 10-100 staff each per public listings (approximate)
  • Each business's domain
  • Its SPF and DMARC records as they appear in public DNS on a stated date
  • A one-line, non-alarmist note on the spoofing risk for each
  • One sample first email to one of the 25, written under your MSP's name

Conditions

  • No payment.
  • No commitment: it never turns into a paid order.
  • Nothing is sent to anyone in your name; the sample email is only a sample.
  • You may use it as you wish, and you can re-run every lookup yourself.

Limits

  • Each record is as they appear in public DNS on the stated date; records can change after that date.
  • Staff counts are approximate, taken from public listings.
  • It reads public DNS records only: no scanning or testing of anyone's systems, and it does not claim any business was breached.
  • It names prospects; it books no meeting.
  • One per company, identified by its web domain.

How it works

  1. We send your prospect finding

25 local businesses with dated public SPF and DMARC records and a sample email under your name, built from public data. Nothing needed from you.

  2. You check it

Re-run any lookup yourself and judge the sample email.

  3. You reply

We answer your questions by email, agree your service area, written qualification criteria and email template with you, and email the pilot agreement.

  4. You set up a sending subdomain

At pilot start you add SPF, DKIM and DMARC records to a subdomain you own, from our instructions. You also share your booking link and any existing opt-out list.

  5. Meetings land on your calendar

Each booked meeting comes with a one-page brief and the reply thread. You hold the meeting and do the selling.

Price

60-day pilot: USD 300 per held meeting that matches your written criteria, nothing otherwise

Then, monthly plan: USD 600 per month plus USD 300 per held qualifying meeting

  • A booked meeting counts as held unless you flag it as a no-show or outside your criteria within 3 business days of the meeting time, by replying to its brief. The full pilot billing rule and our refund rule: https://mspmeetingdesk.com/guarantee
  • At day 60 the monthly plan starts only if you agreed to automatic renewal and have not cancelled.
  • Monthly plan: the USD 600 base is billed monthly in advance; per-meeting fees are billed in arrears.
  • Month-to-month with no minimum term.
  • Cancel any time by replying CANCEL to any of our emails or by emailing hello@mspmeetingdesk.com. Cancelling stops every later month's USD 600 base; the month already billed runs to its end.

Not included

  • Cold calls or texts, to you or to your prospects
  • LinkedIn messaging on your behalf
  • Taking or running the sales meeting, or writing proposals
  • Scanning, port checks or testing of prospects' systems beyond public DNS lookups
  • Access to your PSA, RMM or client systems

FAQ

You are new and have no MSP references. Why should we try you?
We are new, and we have no references to show you. Judge us on your own prospect finding instead: every record in it is public, so you can re-run each lookup yourself. In the 60-day pilot you pay only USD 300 per held meeting that matches your written criteria, nothing otherwise. A booked meeting counts as held unless you flag it within 3 business days (full rule at https://mspmeetingdesk.com/guarantee).
Do you need access to our systems?
No. The prospect finding uses only your public website, public listings and public DNS. For the pilot you add SPF, DKIM and DMARC records to a sending subdomain you own and share your booking link. You also set written qualification criteria, approve the email template and send any existing opt-out list. We never access your PSA, RMM or client systems.
Will your emails alarm our prospects or probe their systems?
No scanning, port checks or testing: we run only standard public DNS TXT and MX lookups. Each email states how that prospect's records look on a given date, without claiming a breach, in the template you approve. We re-run each lookup within 24 hours before sending and drop prospects whose gap is gone.
What does the price pay for that other services do not?
A dated public DNS finding in every email, which gives each meeting a concrete security reason. A pilot billed only on held meetings, with no tech fee and no minimum term (full rule at https://mspmeetingdesk.com/guarantee). And the month's prospect list and reply log, which you keep.
How many meetings will we get?
We do not promise a number of booked or held meetings. Meetings are not clients either: whether a meeting becomes a managed-services contract depends on your own sales work. In the pilot you are billed only for held meetings that match your written criteria (full rule at https://mspmeetingdesk.com/guarantee).
What happens after the prospect finding?
Nothing, unless you reply. It commits you to nothing and never turns into a paid order. If you want the pilot, reply and we email the pilot agreement for you to accept in writing.
